What We Believe
We believe the Bible to be the inspired, only infallible, authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, bodily resurrection, and ascension to heaven. We believe that the lost and sinful man must be saved, and that man's only hope of redemption is through the shed blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in and practice the holy ordinance of water baptism, which signifies the believer's death, burial , and resurrection into new life with Christ Jesus, and the regular celebration of Holy Communion as commanded by our Lord. We believe in the present ministry and baptism of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a Godly life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the unsaved; those that are saved into the resurrection of life and those that are unsaved into the resurrection of damnation. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
What is it Like?
Our weekly Sunday morning service is a blended service. This means it has some contemporary style as well as some traditional style.
What Should I Wear?
On Sunday mornings in the congregation you will see people in anything from suits to jeans and T-Shirts and everything in between. For our service we ask that you wear whatever you are comfortable wearing to worship; all are welcome.
Where Do I Take My Kids?
On Sunday mornings we do have nursery care provided on the same floor as the sanctuary (there are signs posted to help you locate it or one of our ushers would be happy to help). The nursery is available for infants through 4 years old during the 10:45am service. We also have Children's Church on Sunday mornings. This is available for kids age 5 through grade 4. The kids participate in the opening praise and worship with the congregation, then they have children's moments. After children's moments they proceed to the basement to partake in children's church where they will have a lesson, singing, and bible readings.
